Student Advisory Board

The Student Advisory Board (SAB) is comprised of: (all positions are elected by student members)

  1. Student Director –  East (one student from either Temple University, the Saint Joseph’s University – Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, Wilkes University, or Jefferson Univ.)
  2. Student Director – West (one student from either the University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, or LECOM)
  3. PPA Educational Foundation Director (from any school)
  4. Student Chair (from any school)
  5. Student Vice Chair (from any school)
  6. Corresponding Secretary (from any school)
  7. Recording Secretary (from any school)

These elected individuals will serve a full-year term. Each of the seven schools of pharmacy also has both a Director and an Alternate. The Student Advisory Board regularly holds brief business meetings at PPA’s conferences and provides students with a manner in which to have a voice in PPA policy and activities.

Each school also has a Communication, Government Relations, and Membership Ambassador that aids with promoting these areas for their PPA chapter. These individuals do not serve on the Student Advisory Board but may attend meetings and offer ideas.

2025-2026 Officers

The Student Chapter elects officers in the late spring of each year and those officers serve for one full year. Officers are selected on their ability and interest in leading the academy, advancing student interests, and building student interest in PPA.
